MaChT Trip 2023

Dear MaChT members,

No doubt you have been waiting for this for a long time, but we can finally announce it…: From Wednesday 22nd (morning) to Saturday 25th (afternoon) March 2023, we will go on a study trip to Düsseldorf with MaChT 🇩🇪!

No fewer than three company visits are planned! Both for the chemical and materials engineers among us. It promises to be an inspiring trip and of course there will also be plenty of time for exploring Düsseldorf and for fun team-building activities… and all this for a small price!

We are hugely looking forward to it!

This trip is exclusively for 1st and 2nd Master in Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Materials Engineering students.

But the number of places is limited (only 30, including our board)!

We ask for a very small price to be paid for this trip, namely €50.

What is included?

• 3 company visits (+ networking)
• bus transport
• hotel stay (3 nights) + 3 breakfasts
• 2 lunches
• 2 diners
• team building activities

What is not included?

• 1 diner and 2 lunches
• Souvenirs

We will visit a total of 3 companies during our trip for both Chemical Engineering students and Sustainable Materials Engineering students.

Of course we expect all participants to respect the safety protocols which will be provided at the companies themselves.

People who have a pacemaker will not be allowed to join the Aurubis company visit. If this would be the case, let us know beforehand (socials, email) so we can arrange something!

If tickets are available:

1. Make sure you are logged in with your account!!
2. Order the ‘MaChT trip ticket’. If you got it, there is no need to rush anymore. (You will NOT get a confirmation email directly)

4. Transfer €50 to ‘MACHT FV’ on bank account: BE54 7370 3329 5897 with as reference: “Surname Name Trip’

You are now done! You will receive later another email with practical details, but for now you can really start dreaming! 

If tickets are not available:

1. Make sure you are logged in with your account!
2. The ‘MaChT trip ticket’ will not be visible anymore, but you can still order a ‘Waiting List ticket’

If a place becomes available, we will notify you by email and give further instructions. 

You will not be able to cancel your ticket on your own like on previous events. Please contact us (email, socials) if you would like to do this so we can give your ticket to someone else who might be in the waiting list.
